There are instances where a homeowner wants to manage their own project but wants our guidance, support or a helping hand. As a result, we began offering Construction Management Services five years ago for the homeowner who elects to act as their own general contractor.
We will work as an independent contractor to help you to facilitate the successful completion of your project. We can handle any or ALL phases of the project.
As directed by the homeowner, we can identify, schedule and co-ordinate work performed by licensed subcontractors as well as be present as necessary for inspections.
We have relationships with some of the best subcontractors in the area and do not use anyone we would not use on our own home.
If you hire us to manage your project, we do not restrict you to using our subs. You can choose to handle any phase of the project yourself and we will handle the rest. If you prefer, we can work with your subs too.
We will document all costs on an open-book basis in order to help the homeowner manage to a projected budget.
In exchange for these services, we will charge you a Construction Management fee. The fee is negotiated based on the scale of the project and typically is less than what you would pay a general contractor.
